Mio – My Shrink to Fit Experience

In a nutshell, Shrink to Fit is a cellulite smoother in a cream form which meant to be used once daily. Specifically formulated to work in the most complained trouble areas for cellulite, the thighs and arms. If used correctly it is meant to visibly reduce the signs of cellulite resulting in smooth thighs and arms… If it sounds like something you need in your life then you may have found your product because I can vouch that it does work. With that being said though, and with the product being hailed as a miracle cream to make cellulite disappear- it does not mean that it works instantly. Rather, slow and steady wins the race. Shrink to Fit - Pout Perfection

Continuous use is an must if you wish to see and feel any visible difference; I learnt that the hard way. I started using the cream and then decided when rushing after getting out the shower – oh, I will do that later. Well as you know with most beauty routines – LATER NEVER HAPPENS. I have made a continuous effort to get my 5 minutes Shrink To Fit routine in the morning after my shower and I am slowly seeing some results.

I keep repeating these mantas in my mind:

1. slow and steady wins the Shrink to Fit race;

2. and my personal favourite – cellulite wasn’t built in a day!

Having experienced plenty of other creams and lotions in the past that claim that they will make your cellulite woes disappear, and simply do not follow through, I was quite sceptical before and during the beginning of my Shrink to Fit journey. I read the back of the box, before starting to use I which made me laugh. Mio have their own skin-wisdom when it comes to their products, it said using this miracle cream is not a one night stand. Its a true commitment to using the product each and every day, come rain or shine.

To be honest, it is not the most pleasant body product I have ever used. When busy rubbing it into my skin, I don’t think “oh, this feels so nice” or “I feel so relaxed” because I don’t. Its hard work (and I am inherently lazy by nature). The formula of the cream is quite thick, and you are only supposed to use one pump per area (I use one pump between 2 arms and 1 pump per thigh) and it means that you REALLY have to work it into those trouble spots. Vigorous massage of this thick cream makes those lazy cellulite cells wake up.

When you finish using the cream their is a cool sensation (a bit overwhelming to begin with after the first few applications – but you do get used to it) on the area that you worked that stubborn cream into. The cool sensation can last up to a few hours after application. I like to feel a product working, especially when I have put so much effort into getting the product onto me. This cooling sensation gives me some validation (however placebo that effect of validation might be)  that I have done my application for the day and am slowly working towards fitter, healthier skin in the long run.

Visible results? Well, for someone who is quite aware of their own mass of cellulite, I can say that there has been a slight improvement. I am still not where I want to be with my cellulite (God knows if I ever will be) but I can see that religiously using Fit To Shrink is working for me! Once you are satisfied with your results from using Shrink to Fit it is advised to use the product 3 times a week to maintain your smooth areas.

Thanks Mio for making me work for it, I will continue to do so in my quest for Fit Skin For Life.
